Beta vulgaris ss. Esculenta var: “Albina Vereduna” (Family Chenopodiaceae). In the 20th century, white beets were forgotten in favor of red and round beets to meet the demands of industry. However, this variety was already appreciated by the Romans. Sown in April-May, they are harvested from September.

White skin tinged with green, white flesh with circular veins.
